Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that cataloging and classification are carried out manually and digitally using the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system and barcode -based applications. This process simplifies collection management, borrowing, and returning books. Collection evaluation and maintenance are carried out twice a year, with direct and indirect preservation strategies. In addition, increasing reading interest is carried out through scheduled class visits and thematic book classification. The study concludes that systematic collection management contributes significantly to supporting student literacy. It is recommended that libraries expand digitalization and librarian training to improve information technology-based services.
Merrina Ulfa, Muhammad Aryo Ramadhan, Instiyawati Hakim Copyright (c) 2025 Merrina Ulfa, Muhammad Aryo Ramadhan, Instiyawati Hakim https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uimsya.ac.id/index.php/jmpid/article/view/4038 Sat, 13 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Revitalization Of Islamic Education: A Model Of Supervision And Guidance Of Human Resources Oriented Towards Increasing Public Interest In Islamic Educational Institutions https://ejournal.uimsya.ac.id/index.php/jmpid/article/view/4200
This research is motivated by the urgency of human resource (HR) supervision and development in Islamic educational institutions, considering the low level of public interest in actively participating in the educational programs being conducted. Library management and library services play a crucial role in supporting the learning process and improving literacy at SMAN 1 Galis Pamekasan. This study aims to describe the implementation of library management, which also encompasses the funding aspect of facilities, including the planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation stages of services, as well as assessing the quality of services received by users. The findings indicate that planning is carried out through the procurement and grouping of book collections, while organization involves collaboration between the principal, treasurer, facilities and infrastructure officers, and librarians in meeting library facility needs. This involves collaboration between elements within the school environment to meet facility needs and manage library financing, although the funding mechanism applied is not yet optimal and has not been documented in detail. Service implementation includes borrowing and returning books based on student cards, cataloging collections, and regular literacy programs such as reading corners and writing competitions. The evaluation indicates challenges in student discipline and adaptation to information technology, particularly the use of e-books. Therefore, strengthening collaborative and innovative management is needed to improve service effectiveness and foster a culture of digital literacy among students.
Yunita Kumala Sari sari, Ach. While previous research has largely discussed the relationship or influence of teacher welfare on performance, there are still limited studies explaining the forms of welfare efforts undertaken by schools, particularly in private schools. This study aims to analyze the role of principal leadership in improving teacher welfare at Muhammadiyah PK Rabbani Elementary School. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subject is the principal as the primary source of information, while informants include teachers, employees, and educational staff. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. Data validity was tested using triangulation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the principal plays a significant role in improving teacher welfare, both financially and non-financially. Financially, the principal lobbies and negotiates for additional incentives for teachers despite limited authority. From a non-financial perspective, the principal creates a positive work environment, provides opportunities for professional development, and provides recognition and rewards for teacher achievement. In conclusion, effective principal leadership contributes significantly to improving teacher well-being, which in turn supports the quality of education in schools.
Khofifah Umi Rahmawati, Muhammad Munadi Copyright (c) 2025 Khofifah Umi Rahmawati, Muhammad Munadi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uimsya.ac.id/index.php/jmpid/article/view/3854 Sat, 13 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Implementation Of Total Quality Management (TQM) In Madrasah: A Critical And Comprehensive Analysis Through Literature Study https://ejournal.uimsya.ac.id/index.php/jmpid/article/view/3852
This study aims to analyze the implementation of quality management in education at schools and Islamic schools in Indonesia through a literature review approach. Quality education is key to national development, and quality management plays a strategic role in improving teaching effectiveness, stakeholder satisfaction, and the professionalism of educators. This study focuses on the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM), which emphasizes continuous improvement, multi-stakeholder involvement, and consistent evaluation. The results of the literature review indicate that the success of TQM implementation is influenced by strong leadership, effective communication between stakeholders, performance rewards, and the integration of a quality culture at every level of the educational institution. The main obstacles faced are limited resources, a lack of understanding of TQM, and resistance to change. Several studies reviewed highlight the implementation of TQM in various Islamic educational units, such as Madrasah Tsanawiyah and Madrasah Aliyah, with generally positive results, although challenges related to operational costs and changes in organizational culture remain concerns. Successful strategies include unifying the vision and mission, strengthening student character, and providing maximum service to all stakeholders, including teachers, students, and parents. The implication of this research is the need to adopt an adaptive and contextual quality management system, accompanied by intensive training for all human resources in education. With the implementation of appropriate strategies, it is hoped that the quality of Islamic education in Indonesia will be continuously improved.
Afriantoni, Kiki Rahma Alya, Juni, Dania Zalyanti Copyright (c) 2025 kiki rahma alya https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uimsya.ac.id/index.php/jmpid/article/view/3852 Sat, 13 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Weaving A New Paradigm: Transforming Islamic Education Under The Aegis Of The Independent Curriculum https://ejournal.uimsya.ac.id/index.php/jmpid/article/view/3861
This study analyzes and identifies forms of innovation in the learning process of Islamic education within the Merdeka Curriculum framework.
