Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic economics in realizing “Golden Indonesia 2045” through the strengthening of the financial sector, the halal industry, and inclusive and sustainable development. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using library research on 23 sources, including national and international journals and policy documents from 2016 to 2026, obtained through Google Scholar, Garuda, SINTA, DOAJ, and Scopus. The data were analyzed using content analysis and narrative synthesis. The results of the study indicate that the integration of the five pillars of the Islamic economy namely, Islamic banking and finance, the halal industry, ZISWAF, Islamic MSMEs, and the Islamic digital economy plays a strategic role in enhancing financial inclusion, strengthening the real sector, reducing social inequality, and boosting national competitiveness. However, its development still faces obstacles in the form of low financial literacy, regulatory fragmentation, and infrastructure limitations. The novelty of this research lies in its integrative framework of the five pillars of the Islamic economy in support of national development toward Indonesia Emas 2045. The study recommends strengthening pentahelix collaboration, harmonizing policies, improving financial literacy, and the formulation of an integrated roadmap by the government to ensure that the development of the Islamic economy does not proceed in a sectoral manner.
