EMJ: Educational Management Journal is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-BY license. Authors retain full copyright of their works. Readers are permitted to access, copy, and share the articles in any format, provided that proper credit is given to the authors and the journal.

The complete text of the license agreement signed by authors is outlined below.

LICENSE TO PUBLISH

  1. License

The non-commercial use of the article is regulated by the Creative Commons Attribution license currently available at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/. This license permits users to distribute, adapt, and build upon the work—even for commercial purposes—so long as proper attribution is given to the original author.

  1. Author’s Warranties

The author affirms that the manuscript is original, authored by the listed writer(s), unpublished elsewhere, free of illegal statements, does not infringe on the rights of third parties, and that copyright is vested solely in the author(s). The author also guarantees that all necessary permissions to cite material from other sources have been obtained.

  1. User Rights

Under the Creative Commons Attribution license, both authors and readers may freely share (copy, distribute, and transmit) the published work.

  1. Rights of Authors

Authors maintain the following rights:

  • Copyright and other proprietary rights related to the article, including patents.
  • The right to reuse the content in their own future works such as lectures or books.
  • The right to reproduce the article for personal purposes, as long as copies are not sold.
  • The right to self-archive the article.
  1. Co-Authorship

In the case of multiple authors, the undersigned affirms that he/she has the consent of all co-authors to sign this agreement on their behalf and agrees to notify them of its terms.

  1. Termination

Either the author or EMJ: Educational Management Journal may terminate this agreement with two months’ notice if the other party commits a material breach and fails to correct it within one month of notice. A breach will not automatically void this agreement or the rights granted under it.

  1. Royalties

This agreement does not entitle the author to royalties or financial compensation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author waives any claim to royalties for uses of the article by EMJ: Educational Management Journal or its sublicensees.

  1. Miscellaneous

EMJ: Educational Management Journal will publish the article (or arrange for publication) if it successfully passes the editorial process and the journal or its licensee is obligated to do so. The journal may edit the manuscript to conform to its style requirements, including spelling, punctuation, and formatting. Authors acknowledge that the published article will be made publicly available and free of charge for readers. The journal reserves the right to sublicense the granted rights under this agreement.
