Authorship Criteria

AUTHORSHIP CRITERIA

Darussalam English Journal (DEJ) requires all authors to adhere to ethical and transparent authorship practices. The following provisions apply to all submitted manuscripts.

1. Author Eligibility

Authors must have made a substantial contribution to the research, participated in the drafting or revision of the manuscript, approved the final version, and accepted responsibility for their work.

2. Author Contributions

Every author is required to have contributed to the research or the preparation of the manuscript. Authors must clearly state their respective contributions.

3. Corresponding Author

The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the journal and ensuring that all authors have approved the manuscript prior to submission.

4. Author Order and Changes

All authors must agree on the order of names before the manuscript is submitted. Any changes to the author list after submission must be explained in writing and approved by all involved parties.

6. Authorship Ethics

DEJ does not tolerate improper or inappropriate authorship practices, including the inclusion of individuals who did not contribute or the omission of individuals who made significant contributions. Any authorship disputes or alleged misconduct may be reviewed by the editorial team, who will then take appropriate action.

All authors are required to comply with this policy when submitting a manuscript to DEJ.
